The National AssemblyOn 17 June 1789 the members of the third estate made themselves the National Assembly. They represented at least nintey six percent of the nation. THey dicided after all the taxation that they had gone throgh that they would limit the kings power. This new idea was was expressed in both the 171 and 1795 constitutions. On June 20 1789 National Assembly members use the Tennis Court Oath asking to make a new constitution. National Assembly took a number of forward actions to talk about the failing economy and make the country stronger.
